  • How young can children start training at TGS?

    Children as young as 4 years old can start their training with us!

  • My child is struggling in school – can studying martial arts help their grades?

    Martial arts training teaches focus, self-discipline, and self-respect. Kids who absorb these lessons carry them everywhere – including school. The most frequent compliment we receive is that our students become leaders and high-achievers at home and in the classrom.

  • I'm interested in serious competition training. Is TGS the right place for me?

    TGS is home to some of the best grapplers in the Midwest. Our fastest growing demographic is experienced black belts/grapplers looking to get Olympic level competitive instruction.

  • My child isn’t physically coordinated. Will they get hurt?

    No. Our instructors are experienced working with children of all abilities and ages. Your child will learn at a pace that is comfortable for them, and in environment that puts their physical safety first.

  • Do I need any previous martial arts or grappling experience?

    Absolutely not. Many of our members had no previous experience before they joined us. Our curriculum is structured to build all grapplers from the ground up.

  • Where do I park?

    Easy! We have a spacious parking lot right out front. We also have lots of convenient street parking on all sides of our facility.

  • Can martial arts help me get in shape?

    Absolutely! Our classes build core strength and balance while also increasing muscle mass and improving muscle tone. The controlled movements we teach improve your physical fitness with each class.

  • Can my whole family train at TGS?

    Most of our students have siblings and parents attending TGS at the same time. We even host family workouts so the whole family can train and bond together.

  • Do you have wifi available?

    Yep! We have complimentary wifi available, along with study/work areas for before or after class.
